English 120 - Week 5.

I had figured/assumed students might be a wee bit behind on Unit 4 and in their creation of Large Project 1 drafts; the students confirmed my suspicions/assumptions in class today. So, we moved Peer Workshop to Wednesday, and they worked on Unit 4 in class today ("due" at midnight). Unit 5 will be done IN CLASS together next Monday, so students can focus on LP1 Wednesday through the weekend.

  • We will also conduct optional f2f writing conferences (with me) Wednesday. IF students feel they have a solid draft and don't need my help, and have already uploaded their drafts to the Unit 4 Peer Workshop spot, they could skip class Wednesday, and give feedback to a classmate sometime after Wednesday's class session.
